Maricopa Home Consortium- County
One for One Replacement Notice
Maricopa HOME Consortium
On or about March 1, 2018, the Maricopa HOME Consortium intends to provide approximately $300,000 in HOME Investment Partnerships funding to support construction of 56 units of one to three bedroom apartments in the project identified as River at Eastline Village at 2102 East Apache Boulevard, Tempe, Arizona. The project will be new permanent rental housing financed with low income housing tax credits, State Housing Funds, private financing and Maricopa County HOME funds. The project will begin immediately and will be completed in 2019. Long term affordability of the units will be assured with 56 units of project based rental assistance. The rental assistance will be provided through a Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion and is expected to run for twenty years. The units being constructed as replacement are equal in number and bedroom size to the units being replaced. HOME funding was allocated to this project in an amendment to the Maricopa HOME Consortium 2017-18 Annual Action Plan. This project has been determined to comply with the requirements for One for One Replacement when HOME funding will result in demolition or conversion of affordable housing units. Persons wishing to submit comments supporting or opposing this decision may contact Rachel Milne at firstname.lastname@example.org or Rachel Milne, Assistant Director Community Development, 234 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004 before February 15, 2018.
